Philanthropy Mission

Novo Nordisk is committed to making a difference in the communities in which we work. We provide support through financial contributions and partnerships with organizations that share similar visions and goals. In this way, we work with others who are on the front lines of creating better communities.


Our Focus

At Novo Nordisk, our goal is to focus our charitable contributions, sponsorships, and educational programs in the following areas:

Charitable contributions

To be considered, requests must be from 501(c)(3) organizations located in the communities where our employees live and work, and fall within our 3 focus areas:

  • Access to healthcare – programs that provide access to health and human services
  • Education – initiatives that enhance the quality of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) education
  • Strong communities – programs that work to strengthen and support local community issues and need

Sponsorships

Sponsorship support is given to organizations for activities that have a positive impact on Novo Nordisk therapeutic areas of interest and have demonstrated the ability to work toward initiatives that benefit the healthcare profession and patient communities.
