Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) drive our efforts to foster a sense of belonging and build a more diverse, equitable and inclusive workplace. These groups enhance the work experience and professional development for many Novo Nordisk employees. They ultimately help us retain and recruit a more diverse workforce to better serve patients and our communities.
ERGs empower our employees to take an active role on issues they care about and to develop their careers. Examples of activities they participate in include: professional seminars on unconscious bias, community events and fundraisers to raise awareness and support for chronic health conditions, campaigns to celebrate the array of cultures our employees represent, education on health/wellness, among other opportunities. Novo Nordisk leaders serve as executive sponsors of ERGs and encourage broad involvement.
